This is Pure Therapeutic Standard Organic Origanum vulgare (Oregano) Leaf Oil that has been steam distilled from the leaf. It is 100% pure, with no solvents, preservatives, genetically modified or irradiated materials used in production. It is vegan friendly and Humane and it's purity is reflected in it's EU food grade certification, although we supply this oil for External use only, as it has been Sourced and bottled by members of the Aromatherapy Trade Council and only sold through TSNR approved sellers

Origanum essential oil can be an irritant. It should be avoided during pregnancy. The minimum Carvacol content of our Oregano oil is 70%.

    Extraction: Steam distillation of the leaves

    Main Constituents: Carvacrol, para-Cymene, gamma-Terpinene, Terpinen-4-ol, Myrcene, Thymol, Pinenes, alpha-Terpinene, Linalool, Borneol

    Allergens: Contains naturally occurring  Citral, Eugenol, Geraniol, Linalool, Limonene

    Instructions for use:

    Bath & Shower:
    Adults: add up to 5 drops in 2 tbsp carrier.
    Children/ sensitive skin, Up to 2 drops per 2 tbsp. 

    Massages:
    Adults: Up to 15 drops in 2 tbsp of carrier.
    For children/sensitive skin, Up to 6 drops in 2 tbsp of carrier.
    Not suitable for children under seven years old.

    Inhalation:
    Adults, add 4–6 drops to a bowl of steaming water, place a towel over your head and breathe.
    (Not suitable for children, asthmatics and adults with sensitive skin. A bowl of hot water with added oils should be placed in the room nearby instead.)

    Diffusers & Burners:
    Adults, add 1–3 drops in a diffuser or burner.
    Children over 2 years old, add 1–3 drops in a diffuser.
    Not suitable for children under seven years old.

    Please do not use without consulting a qualified aromatherapist if:
    •  You have any diagnosed health condition,
    • You take any medications (prescription or over the counter),
    • You plan to use the oil on or around children,
    • You plan to use the oil in the same room as pets

    This is because certain essential oils should not be used in some of the circumstances listed above and you may need to choose a different essential oil for you circumstances to keep you and your loved ones safe.
